Container conveyor system

Our container conveyor system was developed to convey the transport, storage and distribution containers for meals, laundry etc. at Klagenfurt Hospital. The mechanical system for this independently functioning container conveyor is provided by an AGV (= automated guided vehicle system), or the containers are brought by AGV from the conveyor lines.

The entire transport system for conveying and distributing was in the Klatt scope of delivery and consisted of the following components:

• Stump roller conveyor
...for taking over the transport containers from the AGV and subsequently handing them on to the routing conveyor.

• Routing conveyor...
...for transporting or storing the containers. Routing conveyors were installed in our example as 1st, 2nd or 3rd position conveyors.

• Transfer car...
...for the distribution of the containers at this level

• Stacker crane...
...for the distribution of the containers at 2 levels
