Linz Textil Holding AG can look back on decades of experience in manufacturing cellulosic staple fiber yarns, which are the foundation for the great quality of Linz Textil products. Founded in 1838 by Johann Grillmayr, the company has grown into one of Europe’s leading businesses in the sector of yarn and twine manufacturing. High-end products for further processing are made at several different locations.

Project Requirements

Due to time demands it was of utmost important to have an extremely reliable partner in the field of conveyor technology. Thanks to this as well as the high level of expertise of KLATT staff members, all necessary details were discussed beforehand, which resulted in the fact that the implementation of the project was handled without even one glitch. All deadlines were met and the company was able to reassume operations after an extremely short construction phase.

After a devastating fire in the old warehouse, the new high-bay warehouse was built in record time.

Entire conveyor technology, pallet (ring) winders, storage system, ceiling and wall panels for the storage system, rack operating system incl. double-depth telescopic system for load lifting, labeler with height adjustment, scales, conveyor system controlling, warehouse control units, warehouse management computers, safety technology systems such as guard fences, access system and safety rails, impact protection guards as stipulated by the layout, complete services such as assembly, start-up, project management, packaging, transportation, all required acceptance processes (e.g. for storage and retrieval units), project monitoring from the beginning to the start-up date, customer training.
