Baggage diverters (swivel diverters) are used for diverting non-related items of baggage moving one after the other on the conveyor belt. Before the bags reach their assigned point of diversion, the diverter switches their direction, thus causing the related items of baggage to now move to a different belt. As soon as the items of baggage going to a different destination are moving in a new direction, the diverter switches back to its initial position where it remains until again activated. Diversion may be set at 90° or 45°.  If the angle is set a 45°, an angle belt-conveyor should be integrated into this conveyor section.

All pull-in points are safeguarded according to the European Machinery Directive as well as all other applicable European norms and standards.
