Chain transfer-offsets are used when goods to be moved, such as pallets, grid boxes, trays, containers, work-piece carriers, cases, etc., need to be transferred to a parallel running conveyor section (left or right). In this case the objects to be moved are lifted by an eccentric lift with a crank drive from the existing line and then transferred to a parallel track via transport chains. These parallel tracks can run either in the same or in the opposite direction as the conveyor direction. Chain transfer-offsets can also be used as offset devices for special tasks such as transferring objects to storage and retrieval units. Payloads of more than 1.5 tons usually require a center roller track or a third chain strand.
All pull-in points are safeguarded according to the European Machinery Directive as well as all other applicable European norms and standards.
